Caybaby Husky Pillow is a soothing baby pillow filled with 250g of 100% natural beansprout husks, designed and handcrafted in Singapore. Size: 38cm x 19cm (same as Caybaby Huggy Case M)

Beansprout husk pillows have been used for centuries in many Asian countries as soothing pillows, comforting pillows or security pillows. They are traditionally made by grandparents and parents in South East Asia to comfort their newly born baby.

Beansprout husk pillow hugs the baby and stay in place due to the slight weight of the filling which mimics the mother’s touch. This secure and calming effect soothes babies against noise & movement that may startle them, providing better and more comfortable sleep throughout the night.

The soft rustle and natural scent of the natural beansprout husks also help calm them down and can be used as a natural sleeping aid for both newborn babies and toddlers. The perfect first pillow and childhood keepsake!

Our 100% natural UV-sterilised premium beansprout husk fillings are sourced locally in Singapore. Our supplier’s stringent control in the beansprout husks production assure the highest quality and safety for babies use.

Quality assurance in 5 stages
Stage 1: Husks are carefully selected and placed in a temperature controlled washing equipment. Washing process takes 3 days and temperature is set to kill all bacteria.
Stage 2: After 3 days of washing, the husks is then transferred to a centrifugal tumbler drum for first stage drying process.
Stage 3: The husks are then spread out for traditional sun drying process.
Stage 4: All husks will undergo a further disinfection and sterilization process by passing through an UV Light Emitting Machine.
Stage 5: The husks are then packed to ensure no bacterial growth during storage.

HOW TO USE: Wrap lightly around the chest/tummy area where the weight of the bean sprout husk should rest at both sides (two ends of the pillow). Distribute the husk fillings evenly within the pillow to form a thin layer and place over baby’s chest. You can adjust the weight of the pillow by shifting the amount of husk fillings you want to place on baby and on his/her sides. Once baby falls into deep sleep, gently remove the pillow and place back when baby wakes up again.

SPECIAL TIP: mommies can sleep with the pillow for at least a week to scent the pillow so that the baby will recognise the mommy’s scent.

PRECAUTION:
– Always make sure that the pillow is kept away from baby’s face and does not cover his/her mouth and nose when used.
– Never leave babies under the age of 12 months sleeping with the beansprout pillow (or any other loose object) in the crib unsupervised, unless advised by your own healthcare professional.
– This product contains small parts that may escape and pose a choking hazard to young children. Always check all seams to ensure that they are secure.
– Always inspect the pillows for dust and loose particles before giving it to your child. Regularly remove and sun the inner pillow containing the husks to ensure that the natural fillings are kept dry and odor-free.
-Discard product if the inner pillow containing the fillings is torn, or if the natural fillings have disintegrated to smaller particles that can easily escape from the pillow.

Do note that our inner pillow do not come with a zipper due to safety and are sealed by handsewn. Using a concealed zipper is not safe as well as babies and kids may hurt the gums biting on it.
